Good day all. For starters, I know nothing about art. My mother asked me to identify this painting, as she aqcuired it from her brother. I am usually pretty good at finding what I am looking for online, but this painting has me stumped. Any help with who the artist is would be great. Thank you for your time.

Maybe it's in some foreign script (Thai, Indonesian). I can't make hear or tail of it.
