What we know about this work is that it’s possible to represent Leonardo da Vinci’s mother. This work could be the answer for Leonardo’s Egyptian mother origin.
Those many themes which are thoroughly realized and which are made in Leonardo’s characteristic style, analyzed under a study lead to the personal Leonardian symbolist. It looks very much alike the sketches for St. Ana by Leonardo. This marble bust it’s in our family possession more than 100 years. Its dimensions are height: 50 cm, l= 55cm, weight = approx. 60kg. On it there is dated the years 1486 -1488. What I need from you is if you can help me to find out more about this work, or if you can lead me to anyone who can. More pictures you can see here: http://picasaweb.google.com/11789430...IsAndWhoIsShe# For any further information, I’ll be glad to help. Thank you for your time, George Ghe. ![]() |
