Question Leonardo da Vinci's sculpture?

What we know about this work is that it’s possible to represent Leonardo da Vinci’s mother. This work could be the answer for Leonardo’s Egyptian mother origin.
Those many themes which are thoroughly realized and which are made in Leonardo’s characteristic style, analyzed under a study lead to the personal Leonardian symbolist.
It looks very much alike the sketches for St. Ana by Leonardo.
This marble bust it’s in our family possession more than 100 years.
Its dimensions are height: 50 cm, l= 55cm, weight = approx. 60kg.
On it there is dated the years 1486 -1488.
What I need from you is if you can help me to find out more about this work, or if you can lead me to anyone who can.
More pictures you can see here:

For any further information, I’ll be glad to help.

Hello George. You could try contacting the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum in Vinci in Florence. Not sure what info they could provide but they may be able to steer you in the right direction. The official Museum site is only in Italian, however, I am sure someone there would speak English. Here is the contact info - http://www.museoleonardiano.it/msl/contatti.shtml

Additionally there is Florentine art expert Renzo Manetti.

I would be more focused on learning what you can about the sculpture and not so concerned about a presumed link to Leonardo da Vinci. The women are in a very similar pose, but I don't see a tremendous physical resemblance between them.

Where is the sculpture dated? I looked at the pictures but don't see any date.

I don't see the date either. On closer inspection I think it could be Egyptian. There is a scarab in the necklace. Also there are other carvings within this sculpture that I failed to notice on first viewing. I think it is quite stunning.

Default Same marble?!

Not taking into account the luminosity because of the camera, check the marble differences and similarity.

Default Carving style.

Is the carving style alike in those two sculptures? What do you think?
