I hoping someone out there can help me.

A few years ago I purchased an original pastel. It is of two young boys, dressed in the era of 1930's. They are sittting on a street corner lighting a pipe. It is a really sweet piece of art and I feel like I have something special. The artist forgot to finished the pipe, the pipe is outlined in pencil

The initials for the artist are in pencil and they are AFT.

Anyone have a clue who the artist is?
