Hi Forum Members, I recently received this painting from my grandfather's estate, and would love to find out a bit about it.
Unfortunately I can't find any identifying marks on it and haven't managed to find anything of a similar style using google images etc. It appears to be acrylic or oil on hardboard, and I suspect it's the work of an art student or hobbyist, but thought I'd post an image of it on the off-chance that someone might have seen something similar. Thank you |

Personally, I am pretty sure I've never seen anything else by that artist.

I contacted an Australian dealer of aboriginal art, and they did not consider it to be anything like aboriginal art !
