Help identifying an Artist

Hi All,

I really hope someone can help me!
Ive recently been given an etching and am trying to find out ANYTHING about the artist!!

His name is James Townley, The etching is called Streams and Trees, it has 1960 and his name on the bottom right corner and 1/20 on the left corner!

This is the etching and a pic of his details on the back

Can anyone help me at all!
Any recommendations or info will make my day!

One of the first things I found was this thread that you started on the Digitalspy website. No point in having anybody who wants to help go over the same territory.

Sorry but I thought it would be better posting on a forum more specific to art! As you can see the people on Digi Spy have been very helpful but we're a bit stumped!

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi all, Ive sent a letter to the address with photos of the print so hope someone will get back to me!
But does anyone on here have any ideas???
