Norman Rockwell
It appears to be a copy of Norman Rockwell's "CATCHING THE BIG ONE" that was an artwork for the SATURDAY EVENING POST cover of August 3, 1929.

Not knowing anything about the artist, I don't think much of the painting and I doubt it could be worth much. It's vastly less accomplished than Rockwell's original and all the charm and wit is removed.

I have several pictures form my grandmother, the frist is a still flowers picture in glass frame by Anna Gasteiger and an Litiogragh picture by J' Durler of Jackson Square New Orleans in the 1800-1900"s. Are they of any value.
