I am trying to locate a picture that my mother saw. She wants the painting terribly, but we don't know the name. It is of two bears dancing one a brown bear one white with a floral necklace. Both are standing on their hind legs dancing. They are surrounded by bears, dogs, rabbits, and squirels (some of whom are playing instruments). There are two women setting on a bench to the left holding two rabbits each looking on at the dancing bears smiling.
I am searching everywhere for this painting as my mother wants it, she was just diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and they've given her 6 months to a year and I know it would bring her such great joy to have this in her room! |

I assume you have already looked at William Holbrook Beard? He did at least a couple of "dancing bears" paintings.

Yes, this is a more "mythical" painting. The women look Greek Goddess types. It's not as "woodsy" a painting as Holbrooks.
