Question Who painted this?

Hello,

I recently purchased this painting at an antique auction. I cannot make out the signature and have tried multiple combinations but the artist's signature is not legible. I think its a copy because the frame has 15/61 handwritten. I have also searched images online and have had no success. Can you help?

I have attached the image of the painting and the signature as well as the stamp on the back of the canvas.

Thank you.

I read that as E Grutzner. Cop.

So presumably it's a copy of a work by Eduard von Grutzner, who specialised in paintings of monks.

Thank you Hercules. He was one that came up in my search but wan't sure (and the auction house didn't label) Can you point me to a link where I can research his entire body of work so I can find out more about the original including name of painting? Thanks.
