Need help to identify print of wounded soldier feeding horse

I am trying to identify a print that used to hang on my grandmothers wall. The description is from memory.

The picture is of a soldier, possibly Canadian , possibly Boer or First World War. He is wounded in a hospital bed and is feeding a horse through an open window.

I think this was a popular print at the time of the first world war but I may be wrong.

Can any one help?
