landscape from 1983

I have an oil painting from 1963 bought at the John klepp Gallery in Houston, Texas. It is mostly blues. The scene is pastoral with impressionist figures of a man and a woman in the middle of trees. The only information I have is the artist's signature which seem to be Bauset and 1963. I would like to know more about the artist, if indeed there is anything to know. My mother bought the painting for $500.00
