Default Winslow Homer

I have a drawing of a horse head that has the signature of a Homer with '02 beside it.

I bought it a number of years ago from an estate. It doesn't matter if it is a "real" homer or not because I love the drawing but if it is an original it belongs somewhere other than my house.

I did a little research and somehow found some letters written by homer. In 1902 he was asking someone to pay for a painting because he was building a stable. Maybe horses were on his mind.

I will see if I can copy the drawing to this thread and ask for opinions.

Thank you.

I am not an art expert, but the picture doesn't appear to be of the style or quality that one would associate with Winslow Homer. Also you can see some examples of his signature online -- I looked at a few and didn't see anything that resembled this one.
