Default Who Painted This - for Pam

Greetings Pam,

I just wanted to let you know that your photograph of the work did not come through. I have never tried to post an image so can not "walk" you through the process.

To insert a web link to an image, just click the "picture" icon (the one that looks like a tiny mountain landscape), and you will be prompted for the URL (address) of the image.

To upload an image from your hard drive, click the "paper clip" icon (not available in the Quick Reply box).

Hi Pam,

Thanks for sharing the image with us....It has a very familiar look to it.
I don't know the title or the artist.
I did try "shepherd boy" search of Artcyclopedia to see if I would get lucky.... no luck finding it.

Hello

Guess what, after much searching again, I found the name of artist and painting on the web last night.

It is by

MURILLO, Bartolomé Esteban

Christ the Good Shepherd or El Buen Pastor
c. 1660
Oil on canvas,
Museo del Prado, Madrid

Many thanks

Pam
