World Fair Painting ID

Hello,

I am very inexperienced in the world of art, however I do know how to appreciate it. This is a painting that I found hanging on a wall in a place close by and the groundskeeper told me it was bought at the world fair a long time ago. He did not know anything else about it. The original owner has passed away. I've tried google searching the name to no avail. Could someone please help me with any information about this piece? Thanks in advance.

Likely this is Emily Elias, a British painter who was active circa 1884-1910.
