Hello all ~
During July, 2007 I visited the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. While there, I recall seeing a painting that depicted two figures. One male, one female. One held a candle while the other timidly hid behind a cloak lying on a bed. I believe both figures were nude. I also think the painting was on the top floor of the gallery, in one of the smaller side rooms. I am trying to identify the name of this piece, but have had little luck so far. Any help is much appreciated. |

It MAY have been a rendition of Cupid and Psyche. I am not certain, but it rings a bell . . .

I think you mean Giuseppe Maria Crespi painting Psyche discovers Cupid. It is a beautiful piece.
