...i purchased this lovely framed signed ink on silk painting several years ago with two others by the same artist... but have been unable to figure out who the artist is as i can not make out the signature... and would also appreciate any help in discovering exactly when it was painted... thank you
...per request... i have now added pictures of the other two paintings i have by the same artist... along with a close up of the artist's signature in hopes of aiding in figuring out who this mystery artist is... as a true lover of art... it would truly be greatly appreciated... thanks again... Why do artists do this? The title "Firenze" is clearly legible, but the signature is totally unreadable. Don't they want people to be able to figure out who drew it?

As you already know Firenze = Florence Italy.
The bridge that you see is called Ponte Vecchio. Are the other two also Italian subjects? Maybe a photo of the other two? And a more clear photo of the signature perhapes. |

...thank you for checking out my painting... yes... all three paintings are very detailed landscapes in Italy... i have now added pictures of the other two paintings i aquired at the same time by the same artist along with a closeup of the artist signature... in hopes that these will further aid in discovering who the artist is and the time framed in which they were painted...
