Default Windmill Painting

Hi!
In the movie The Thin Man Goes Home With William Powel there is a painting of a Windmill which is of special interest in the movie. My question is who is the real artist & what is the name of the painting? Is it available in print?

Thanks, Mark

Hello Mark,

I have not seen this movie, but from what I read, the painting was nothing more than a "prop". It was probably painted by some local artist to use in the movie as the person who supposedly painted it in the movie gets murdered.

Maybe there is a book out on MGM movies from the 1940s that would have the artist's name? I doubt there is a print available of it.

Hi Judy,

Thank you for the reply! I will have to do some more research to find out if it does exist.
