help please with identification of artist
HI, ANY HELP APPRECIATED, even if someone could tell me what "style" of work this is.. It is done in pen and ink with some watercolour highlighting. Its initialled by artist JF and dated 54?

Hi - I wasn't able to ID your artist but I believe the 54 may be the date and it could be a sports illustrator. If you haven't already checked it out you could try going to http://www.askart.com/AskART/index.aspx. You can type just the first initials into the first and last name search results and go through the names maybe focusing on living dates in line with 1954. Its a bit of a needle in the haystack but it might be worth investing some time in. Your drawing reminds me a lot of Al Hirschfeld and he is typically categorized as a caricaturist.
