Default Can anyone ID this painting?

I find it unique and would like to get a print of it. I've done a lot of searching and cannot seem to pinpoint any information about it. Thank you.

This is a photographic image of one of the stray cats of Torre Argentina, Rome. Over three hundred thousand stray cats live in Rome, descendants of Egyptian cats brought there about three thousand years ago.

There is a cat sanctuary that resides in the place that Caesar was murdered. They sell a calendar featuring different cats living amongst the ruins. This one seems to be on the cover of the 2011 calendar, however, I don't see it on the sanctuary site. I believe they sell a lot of postcards of this one to the tourists.

Thanks Eirene. I've got to get one of those calendars. Personally I think the picture's great, but my wife and daughters would die for it. They adore cats and ancient ruins.

Hi John;

I think that the calendar on the sanctuary site is the one from 2010. Perhaps they haven't updated the photo yet.

Regards,
~E
