Mt friend has lost her favourite painting, well print of a painting in a house fire. We have no idea who the artist is, so I will try to provide as much information as possible, please bare with me as I am not well versed in this area.
The painting was what I would think is called impressionism, it is of 2 girls/women at a café or club and painted in an orange scheme….similar to that of Van Goghs “Café Terrace At Night”. My friend vaguely remembers being told the name is “Girls/Women at the Club/Café”. I’ve searched relentlessly switching around the key words to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

Maybe it is a Itzchak Tarkay print.

thanks thatcomedian, but unfortunatly that isnt it. The best way I can describe it is the Van Goghs Cafe Terrace painting, of the actual terrace in the orange/yellows. The picture looked like the 2 girls could be a close up of that terrace scene. Similar stroke work.
I really hope this helps! |
