Please help me identify this painting!

I saw an amazing painting today, but could not make out the signature. Not sur if its a local artist, or well-known one. School children having a funeral processional while holding their heads down. The last child is pulling a small wagon with a tiny pet, or animal in it. Can someone identify what this might be? Thank you!

It sounds similar to (not the same as) an old print called Last Honours to Bunny.

Thank you. I'm familiar with the painting you mentioned, and that isn't it. This painting has a primitive look to it and the children have their backs to the viewer. I will keep searching!
