This old watercolor painting has been in the family for years and may be 150 years old, but it is not signed and nobody knows where this toll bridge is but it looks like French or Swiss it is alpine I think, any help would be great,

Can anyone help me find out about this painter(1884-1967). Born in Cavaillon, France. Came to USA and lived in Old Lyme Conn. for a time until he returned to France.

The Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme has several paintings by the artist, but unfortunately none are online:

You also have this link on the site John quotes with a short bio and there is a lot of info with Google, mainly a Google book "artistes français en Amérique" with more details. What other info would you like to find?
