I have a picture with similarly dressed women. They are in victorian dresses. One is playing a piano, one is playing a harp, and one is sitting watching. I would like to know the age of the painting or any information about the artist.

This print (Harmony) hung behind my mother and father's sofa in our living room ever since I can remember (I am now 62!) - My sister and I used to pretend that she was the girl in gold and I was the harpist! Mine too, was in an original, beautiful, cut-out, probably walnut frame with paper backing and nails holding it in place! -- I cherish it and have just had it "reproduced", as it was beginning to deterioriate, and I, too, will hang it in my living room!

Default Identify my painting..

Hi, I have a painting that has been sitting in our garage for years, so decided to get something done about it. We always thought it would be worth a good bit, just sort of by the way it looked...if you know what i mean.
Anyway, it's still in its original wooden frame which is painted a goldy colour. Well, it's a little girl praying. She's looking up at a 45 degree angle with her hands together(praying) and she is kneeling. Not so much kneeling, because she is sitting back down on her feet..so i don't know what you'd call it. She is wearing a white knee-length nighty or gown. Her hair is brown and shoulder length. The background is just mostly dark, with bits of orange/red on the top left of the painting. But in the bottom left I can sort of make out like a little cupboard you would have a the side of your bed? And bed sheets sort of made look messy, hanging over the side of the bed. So it's a little girl praying at her bedside (I think).
Now, it does have a signature on it, but when i search it nothing comes up. The name is "T. Gilchrist". I've googled this name but I only get results for an artist called "Philip T. Gilchrist" and I've looked at so many of his paintings and my one doesn't even look like his sort of style..? If anyone could help me please e-mail me at warrenbelton@live.co.uk.
I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

I had the same painting passed down to me by my grandmother. I lost it when my house burned down in January. I think of it often. I am in the process of trying to find another copy

Default Gail Frank Harmony--- help!

Ok, we bought a house from a older man a few years ago, and we have what looks to be an original (not a print) of the Gail Frank Harmony painting hanging on the basement wall. Does anyone know the value of this painting?

My mother always had it up in our house. After her passing my sister inherited it. It will always bring warm heartfelt memories, since we have ejoyed them for so long.
