I have a print by J Philippe, inherited from my parents. It was a wedding gift to them in 1943.
The print show red flowers in a green glass vase with a blue/green globe-shaped bowl beside the vase. There seems to be a print number but it is obscured by the edge of the matt. On the back on the picture, the label indicates that the print was purchased at the Tresure Shop, 111 King St W, Brockville, ON, Can.

I also have a similar print (or original watercolour, not sure) of red gladioli and blue irises in a green vase with a small bowl beside it. Cannot see any numbers on the back as I don't want to disturb the covering but the label is from a fine art dealer in Lewes, Sussex, England. It was also a wedding gift to my parents in 1938.
