I am looking for a painting that I only have a description of...no artist name or painting title. It shows several kids writing on the wall of a house the word "PAIX." One is kneeling down and another stands on him to write the word. Two others watch on two sides that nobody comes. It is a corner house. One of the kids looks down down the street where you can see in the distance a crowd of people demonstrating with red flags. Great painting. I think that he (or she?) was French because the word on the wall was PAIX. Must be from the beginning of the 20th century. Does anybody recognize the painting and could give me more information? thanks!
