I have had this painting for a few years now and continue to try and search for any information on this painting, such as who painted this, where and what is the subject. There is a date of 1890, and then the last name Lonergan?? Lonengan?? With the first initials of HP or PP. The frame appears original and also needs repair and cleaning. And how should I be storing this??? Thanks for any help!! I was going to attach a picture of the painting but for some reason this willl not work. Its a picture of a waters edge near a creek, with a mill and a landing of sorts?
