Default help identifying a painting

Hi there, I have a ?print of a painting that belonged to my grandparents. Its on board but does not ‘feel’ like it has been painted, thus I am assuming it’s a print. I’d like to identify the painting and try and find a better quality one as it’s a bit worse for wear.

I have also included a picture of the artists signature. Google has thus far been of little help in finding out more about the painting.

It kind of has a mid-century "illustrative" feel to it. I could imagine it being drawn by Will Eisner, for example.
