Hello,
I am college student from Seattle taking an art class, and my professor assigned us to make a replication of any old masters painting. After slaving for hours on this project, I turned it in and received a low grade because I could not produce the name, date, and/or title of the original old masters painting. I found the original piece off of a replication website.. here is the link: http://www.oilpaintinghouse.com/painting.asp?id=9116. Can someone please help me to identify this piece?? I don't want to fail my class!!! Thanks! Shefali |

Well I will give you a hint... it is Saint Catherine by an Italian painter and resides in the Hermitage Museum in the St. Petersburg, Russia.
