Help identifying a painting
I'm sure you guys get this a lot but I was wondering if someone could help me identify a painting I bought even though it has that rip not sure if I should leave it as is or if it's of an artist that I should consider getting it repaired. I tried reading the name it looks like David to me but I can't quite tell and even if it is, David who is the question. Here are two pictures one is of the signature the other is of the whole painting.

I have one also by the same artist, have you had any luck in identifying the artist. Mine is very similar subject matter.
