Who painted this?
I was given this painting from a friend, and i'm trying to find the name and artist to have it appraised. If anyone has any idea, I would love to hear what you have to say. It seems vintage, and dark, but I have searched the signature with no success.

The signature seems to read "Wm. [William] Strang". Strang is a fairly well-known Scottish artist. From where the signature is, it looks like it might be a print rather than a painting.
