Any idea who did these?

I was given these 14 years ago when I was 16 by my Grandfather. Back then I didn't really care about them and put them in my closet. It's been ten years and I am putting them on the wall. Anyone know anything about them or the artist? Based on the things that my Grandfather had and did, these are probably somewhat significant.

Without attempting to compare signatures, the second one looks like Victor Vasarely. See "Quasart" and "CTA 102" for works that are very similar.
