Default I desperately need help to identify these art pieces

I desperately need help to identify these art pieces . I have taken pictures of them maybe you all can help me out. I have two paintings one large one small dark black wood frame, images of a ship on both paintings, they are painted on what I think is red felt, the material used to paint the ships is unknown, the smaller painting has a signature that I can not make of, but I posted it for you to see. On the back of the smaller painting says Mexico, and the ships have a gold and bronze color to them, I need help identifying the artist, where they came from and when they where made. Ive stared at them too long and my curiosity is starting to hurt.

Hopefully the pictures can do their justice.

Default old painting of a little girl from behind sitting next to a black dog

Can anyone tell me how I can find the old painting (early 1900's probably) which shows a naked little girl from behind sitting next to a black dog? My grandmother had one and I really want to locate a copy. It reminds me of her and the story she told me who the girl and dog were. Thanks.
