Who painted this?
I bought this painting (oil on canvas) yesterday. I know it is not an original, as the price was ridiculously low. I am wondering however who painted the original, and what was the title. I am pretty sure it must be a copy of an existing painting as it looks very familiar to me. It is a milkmaid (or at least, she is near a farm and carries a jug). She wears a white bonnet. It seems like a northern European setting. (I hope the image attached itself.
Any thoughts on that? |
