The painting is done on wood. The lower right corner reads "Pot Hadda 1961". I would assume that is not the name of the artist but rather pot stands for pottery as the theme of the painting suggest. Hadda maybe has something to do with Afghanistan?
At least if someone can suggest the country of origin? Is is a valuable painting or just an average unprofessional one? Thansk in advance ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I cannot see the last "D" but know when you told me maybe there it is. Do you think thats the name of the artist? What could be the origin? thanks |

Not sure of Luca's reasoning, but "Haddad" sounds like a more likely name, especially with the Egyptian theme.

I've been told that might have Egypt origin. Maybe then theme is Egyptian but that does not mean the artist is.
Anyway, thanks for the replies. I just want to get rid of it and trying to figure out if has any value. |
