Hello,
Could anyone help me identify/find a painting I once saw. It was in an African store in Carmel, CA (since closed). I thought it was called "Watering Hole" or "Serengeti" but I can't find it under that name. It was very unique in that it was like a picture in a picture. It depicted African animals gathered and drinking at a watering hole...upon closer examination, some of them were walking out of the picture onto a desk in a room scene.... Thanks for any help. Sam |

Yes, Bo Newell has a painging of some tigers that are climbing off the cover of a book and are on a desk and climbing into a photo of several animals which are drinking at a watering hole. Pretty interesting painting, I think. The painting is called "No Boundaries." He has several simalar paintings which are also interesting. One which I find to be somewhat interesting is of a chess board with actual men as the chess pieces. That one is called "Knight Moves" I believe. Something like that. Hope I helped.

Hello,
I am trying to search for a painting entitled "Late for the Party". If I recall correctly, I had seen it in a gallery in Paris back in 2007. It was by a Spanish painter - all his paintings have figures with very distorted (facial) features. Tried Google, etc. with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

I think that sounds like Bo Newell's "Coming to Water." They used to sell his prints fairly inexpensively, but they are hard to come by.
