Question Need Help Identifying Artist

Growing-up, my parents had a set books celebrating certain famous artists, inclusive of sampled works. I remember thumbing through them, being particularly shocked by Francisco Jose de Goya's painting, titled "Saturn Devouring One of his Children". There was another artist's work presented in the book, but I can't remember his name or the title of the paintings - those of which I would like to find again. I'm hoping that through this forum, and my vague description, someone can help identify this artist.

The painting was of a landscape, depicting many people - naked I believe. It was very detailed, with one couple trapped inside a glass bubble (cracked or veined), blooming from a flower (possibly). Other bizzar landscape objects were a hand with legs. Maybe a large eyeball somewhere in the painting. I think there were also peole standing inside the bottom-half of an egg shell.

Sorry I can't offer more information - it's been over 30 years since I saw the picture. But from my memory, the images were stunning, and I'd like very much to find the painting.

Thanks for anyone's consideration toward helping my identify this artist.

Regards,

Lightbulb Additional Info

I also remember there was a pig, or cow, cracked open (like a porcelain statue) with people in it.

Not much value, but I hope it helps!

Thank you,

I think you mean Hieronymus Bosch. He did several paintings of this type. Quite surreal.
