I have a Sheild type piece that appears to have been poured in a cast. Signed by Elkington. It is of a rligous nature and and the detail is immaculate.
Can you help me w/info on this piece!! PLEASE ! |

Elkington & Co. was a leading producer of artistic metalwork including both silver and plate- in Birmingham, England in the 19th Century . Presumably this shield is the one modelled by Leonard Morel Ladevil, dated 1866 . The subject is based on Milton's Paradise Lost.
