my painting is a side view of 5 men in bowler hats, hands in pockets strolling along. turquise sky, pink fore ground. The men seen to be sticking there chests out. they have no features. although it is signed it is undecipherable. it posses Rene Magritte similarities. could it just be an artist copying his work? Everyone finds it absorbing, i love it. i would appreciate any advice as to who the artist maybe, thanks

My first thought was of Jack Vettriano, but there are differences between Billy Boys and what you're describing.
