The artwork and signatures that Thatcomedian posted look exactly the same as yours.

OTOH, while Raymond Normand also signs his name in block letters, his signature looks a little different. And the paintings I've seen online by him are quite different. They have a Post-impressionist feel to them, like a cross between Cezanne and Vincent van Gogh. My personal feeling is that your artist is not Raymond Normand.

Thanks John. I will to know who this artist is. Now I realized I am wrong assuming that it was Raymond Normand. I have a great interest to know who he is!

Thanks again.

I don't know how accurate the information in these two links is, but they talk about a "Normand Louis" (Louis Normand?) born in 1910:

(Not to be confused with the 19th Century artist(s) of the same name)

I have a painting of the same scene, same artist, but with a single tree. The back of the painting says of Normand: 'Born in Paris on 10/1/1910. He followed 'Beaux-Arts' in Paris. After war went to Nice where he studied the typical landscaping of Cote 'dAzur as well as the atmosphere of his native country."

Hi All: I also have an oil painting of two trees with the same information taped onto the frame (Born in Paris on 10/10/1910. He follows the beaux-arts in Paris. After war went to Nice where he studied the typical landscape of Cote d'Azur as well as the atmosphere of his native country". I purchased the oil painting in 2006 at an estate sale in Boston, Ma. The signature is in the block letters. Love the colors of the painting....
