Hi folks, this is my first post. As an artist myself, I recently picked up a painting just to use the frame but really would like to know if it is of any interest before I take it apart as it is quite interesting.
It is on canvas board rather than canvas and cannot make out the signature. Could be Watson, Wallace, Wales or W something. Have attached images and would be grateful for any help. Thanks, Mark. landscapes-art.co.uk |

Edit to add: Love marine paintings as I have lived on the water and spent years on boats. We had the Ethereal docked here..went down to take a peek..forgot camera....very impressive..the photo's definitely do not do it justice. Just my luck... this 'little 50 million dollar hybrid sailboat' anchored out in my backyard in the fog the next night...it truly looked Ethereal. Got a few shots that night as well as in the morning as it headed south. Here's some info - http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortu...4721/index.htm Photo's of ports of call at bottom. Dream on... http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=319680000 My photo's - The Patch of Blue is what they would have been observing to the south the night of the fog.
