Hello everyone. I know nothing about art but I bought these years ago. I took them to the local art museum to speak with someone to help. He seemed to think they were from the 1920s. He thought they were the original artwork for a book. He didn't have any clue beyond that. They are not signed and are very thick. I guess it was first drawn then they used watercolor(i really don't know). You can still see the pencil marks from the original sketch. If anyone has any clue or a site/person who may be able to help. Thanks in advance been wondering about these for years.

Very interesting. I wonder of the general riding the rabbit is intended to be a spoof of Napoleon at the Saint Bernard Pass. Also the fellow in the black tights on the same page looks like Vincent Price, but that's probably a coincidence. The artist clearly has talent but I don't have any suggestions as to who it could be.
