I have a painting of a pretty red headed young woman with a see-thru dress on. I can't make out the name of the artist, but it looks like C Fisher. I've looked up an artist named C Fisher, but looks like he mainly did landscaping. I didn't find my painting in his portfolio. Does anyone have any idea's how I can find out who painted this picture?

You could post an image so we could see what type and quality of work you're talking about. There are some quite exhaustive lists of professional artists at Findartinfo.com, Askart.com, and the Getty ULAN database.
