Famous Composer Portrait signed Sidis

Hi................if anyone knows who this famous composer please comment.
Two guys where I bought it couldn't agree on who it was but they did mention a couple of famous composers.Painted on canvas.
No information anywhere on the artist accept on Worthpoint which had information on another oil by the same artist.

I assume it's Beethoven, as it closely resembles this picture. Not sure who the original artist is offhand.

I would say your correct in the painting being a portrait of Beethoven.
I did do a search of composers before I posted this and did see a picture of Beethoven but it was black and white and I could not see the similarities.
Now I do.
I find it odd that there is very little information on the artist.
If you have an idea of when it may have been painted please inform............
I have attached a couple more pics.

I know of four people named Sidis who lived in this country. Boris Sidis, a Harvard trained MD and PhD who worked with William James and died in the 1923; his wife Sarah Sidis who was also an MD and died in 1959; their daughter who was a poet, and William James Sidis, a child prodigy who died in 1944.

They were relatives. I have done a lot of research on the family and have never heard of any of them painting.
