Default Chinese art

I have a beautiful painting that was given to me by my mother-in-law. It is an oriental watercolor. It's different shades of blue and has a boat on the water with a beautiful tree. I can't tell who the artist is because, obviously, the name is in Asian characters. It has a red stamp next to the name. The name has five characters. Anyone have any idea? It has a bamboo reed frame around it in gold paint. My mother in law may have painted the frame. I have no idea. She has since passed on but a cousin asked me who had the paintings because they knew it to be worth quite a bit of money. Apparently there were two. I have no idea what I did with the other one . Any clues?
