Default Help! Trying to Find an Arthur Bell Foster Watercolour

Thanks for taking the time to read this msg. I'm trying to find any painting by British artist, Arthur Bell Foster. It's for a gift for someone who was taught by him many years ago. Arthur Bell Foster painted many landscapes of his beloved Yorkshire and it would be fantastic to track one down. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards and thanks once again

Sheila

Hi Sheila,

Although I don't have any information on an Arthur Bell Foster painting, I thought I would say hello because he is or was, however you look at it, my great great Uncle - some years ago upon learning of him and that he was a painter every now and again I have done an internet search to see if there is anything new to read about or see - I recently found out that he also taught, so to hear an account of somebody who was taught by him would be greatly appreciated, if at all possible sometime? I wish you the best of luck with your search, and if I come across something I will let you know - pehaps send me an email - jodielj@hotmail.co.uk

Warm wishes
Jodie

I have a painting by ABF given to my parents for a wedding present, of a small cottage in a country scene, dated circa 1933. ABF was my father's best man.
