My father found a painting online last week and wanted to show me it however his memory is not so good and he cannot remember where or how he found it. He did not know the name of it and he thought the artist was Botticelli however we've searched numerous art sites and had no such luck with him.
He said the painting was a renaissance piece with Jesus standing in an arched doorway with mary magdelene on one side and st. peter on the other. In the background through the doorway there are stars.
Unofrtunately this is all the information/description I have about the piece but if anyone has any suggestions on who has done pieces similar to this or thinks they might know what the piece is called I would be very grateful
