Default Oswald Arndt?

Hi all. New to the forum.

I have purchased an oil painting on stretched canvas signed Arndt in the bottom left and the year 52.

I have done a search on the forum and Oswald Arndt seems to be the most likely artist after doing a bit of ground work.

What I have noticed is that alot of his paintings seem to be very similar, for example, a Swiss Chalet and clothes hanging over a balcony with a mountain in the back ground and made in the same year (1952).

I have attached 2 pictures that are of my painting and 2 links that look similar in style.

Thanks for any help you can supply on the artist and also what would be an esimated average price for his work?

Andy

another of Arndts' work made in the same year of 52 generally called "Alpine Landscape" was sold at an auction in Canada for 50.00 CAD(1) in Oct 2010 or £31.56 in today's money (using exchange rates at the time of auction (2) plus the rise inflation of 2.4%(3))

I wasn't able to find any other information on him.

Thank you for the information. I have seen other images by him, but the sites I went on ask for a subscription service to view the info. Thanks for the link.
