I have a watercolor painting of a young girl holding a wide mouthed bowl in both hands.
She is wearing a hooded cape. It is done in various shades of brown. It may be of Dutch origin and possibly one of the master's. I have not been able to identify it although the artist's initials seem to be A.A.S. or just A.A. Does anyone know who I might speak to to have it identified? One other point, this painting was found secreted behind another painting about 50 years ago. The other painting was unremarkable and of current vintage at the time. The watercolor is so old that the paper is crumbling. I want to get it identified before it is lost. |
