I couldn't find anything about this particular painting but I found very similar style and presentation paintings by a UK artist named Jo Beer...
Source: http://www.jobeer-art.com/index.aspx...tionid=1202206 Since she seems to paint similar works to the painting in question, maybe you could contact her and she could provide the information you seek. Her email taken from her website is "jobeer@hotmail.co.uk" I think her paintings are delightful. |

Welcome to competing against saintmarc.
I was caught out too. The painting does at first glance remind one of Georgia O'Keeffe, but I've never seen it before and thought it was by someone influenced by O'Keeffe. This one seems a little more close-in than her "classic" works, where she exults in the long flowing lines of the plant's interior. Anyway that's what comes from overthinking things. |

UK painter Vida Russell has a very similar style to this.
