Help Me Locate A Painting

I am looking for a painting last seen by me at the Hotel St. Claire in San Jose California in 1984. It was hanging on a wall outside of the restaurant and may have been part of a collection on loan. The current owners of the hotel do not have any information on the whereabouts of the painting. The painting was a small one depicting a night scene in which lions are prowling a terrace or courtyard by the water's edge. There are balustrades and columns around the courtyard. The painting is old and cracked and appears to be from the early 19th Century. Since it is at night, there is a bluish tint to it; it is a very dark painting. Outstanding feature: the lions have glowing eyes!
